Please engage your child on any of the following activities during their stay at home. It’s also very important to read to your child and take them outdoors daily. • Have your child practice writing first or last name: 

A great way to do this is by writing name on a blank piece of paper in black marker and having child trace over the letters using highlighted or bright neon markers. You can also do the same with numbers, shapes and letters of the alphabet.

• Playdough Recipe:

1 cup of flour

1 cup of water

Few drops of food coloring (optional)

½ cup of salt

1 teaspoon of vegetable oil

Mix all ingredients together. Knead the dough until it’s smooth

Children can use rolling pins, plastic knives (with supervision), cookie cutters, child scissors (with supervision), add buttons and other small objects, for children to press into playdough.
